Day 1: Challenge 2014

After thinking about it long and hard. And by long and hard I mean like...um...maybe 30 seconds, I decided to have a separate blog dedicated to my Advo journey....from products to challenges to business opportunities to ....well, all things AdvoCare. This way I can keep the other blog for my other ramblings. Cool? Cool.

Ok, well this one will be short. Seriously. I promise. Short, sweet and to the point. But before I begin, I just want to lay this out that any and all opinions/results/commentary around the products are solely those of me, myself, and I.

So, here we go! (I'll do a recap of my "Rookie Year" at a later time.)

Day 1:
Nothing like starting the day off with a nice glass of fiber. Pure, natural, rough fiber. For me, I like to mix a pack or scoop of my Spark in with my fiber drink. I'll be alternating between citrus and orange Spark this time around. Pour, shake, chug. Do NOT let it sit....I use a blender bottle. It works very well.

Just like last time...and every time I have a Spark....10 minutes later I was ready to go. It's INCREDIBLE. It's hard to explain...but if you've ever had one, you know what I'm talking about. In fact, it's 10:30 now and I still feel full of energy. Normally on Sundays, after church, I'd be ready to sit on my duffer and just watch football or snooze. But today, even though the Panthers were playing, when we got home from church Preston asked if he could ride his bike and without even thinking, we took off around the neighborhood. We even spent some time playing outside with the neighbors. Well, the kids played....I just chatted. But still, this is HUGE because I didn't even hesitate going outside. I even CLEANED OUT MY CAR... it really is crazy how focused you get and just want to "do things." If you've never had a Spark, let me know and I'll send you one....free of charge. The only thing I ask is that you prepare yourself to be rocked!!

Breakfast:
So, fiber drink, Catalyst, Meal Replacement Shake...done!

Lunch:
After church, we headed over to Monterrey's Mexican Restaurant. I had a grilled chicken taco salad, no cheese, no sour cream, light guacamole, and didn't eat the shell. And of course...water.

Continued chugging water throughout the day....a few more Catalyst when I got home.

Dinner:
6oz. filet, smoked on the Primo....some veggies and black beans. And of course...water.

And had a few more glasses of water since dinner....

About to take 3 more Catalyst, a few more swigs of...yep, water...then call it a night. Oh yeah, can't forget those herbal cleanse tablets.

No real struggles today....have been a little hungrier than usual but that's to be expected. I didn't do so well with my snacks today....need to get better with that tomorrow.

Measurements will be posted tomorrow. Before and after pictures will come at the end of my challenge.
